Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

Identify, Prospect and Develop new business opportunities with senior executives at Global 2000 companies for the designated geographies. Achieve and exceed quarterly targets for discovery meetings and new opportunity creation. Help Troux Account Executives to respond effectively to customer inquiries, penetrate named accounts, build the “ground swell” for an enterprise solution, and uncover the prospect’s challenges (both immediate and latent) that Troux’s solutions help to solve.
Primary duties include strategic profiling, outbound cold calling, e-mail correspondence, and resource coordination across all necessary departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail
  • Profile and prospect into stated target accounts
  • Assist potential customers during their evaluation process
  • Keep Troux management informed by maintaining accurate and thorough activity and opportunity records within SalesForce.com
  • Report to Troux management weekly and quarterly on accomplishments, successes, and progress against plan
  • Coordinate and schedule onsite and online presentations Provide Troux Management with insight into the local market opportunity in stated geographies

Qualifications:

  • Passion for selling (IT industry background preferable)
  • Enthusiastic and self-starting approach
  • Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
  • Knowledge and experience of enterprise software solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and Salesforce

Federal Sales Engineer

Job Description:

The Federal Sales Engineer (SE) is a customer-facing technical sales professional who provides pre-sales guidance and support to current and prospective Troux customers. The SE collaborates with Account Executives and other Troux resources to develop and recommend appropriate solutions to customer problems. The SE acts in a consultative fashion and is looked upon as an expert in his/her field by the account team and customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general pre-sales assistance to Federal customers and partners
  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations at customer & partner sites and industry events   
  • Proactively manage the technical stages of the sales cycle
    • Work to understand the customer’s key business drivers / problems
    • Define solution options and articulate the benefits of Troux products
    • Participate in regular strategy sessions with Troux Federal team to define win strategies for key accounts
  • Maintain current knowledge of Troux solutions & industry trends and recommend new solution opportunities as appropriate
  • Serve as an interface between the Federal Sales organization and HQ technical staff to resolve outstanding customer issues
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Minimal travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years in enterprise software sales or related experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
  • A B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Knowledge and/or experience in the following domains:
    • US Federal Government
    • Enterprise Architecture
    • IT Governance
    • Business Intelligence
    • Portfolio Management
  • Experience dealing with high-profile customer roles, including, but not limited to: CxOs, Chief Architects, Program Managers, etc   
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • self-start and balance initiative with common sense
    • take ownership and responsibility for the technical stages of the sales cycle
    • understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of Troux (or related enterprise) products and solutions
    • translate business requirements into relevant and appealing technical solutions
    • prioritize and execute tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner
    • collaborate in distributed team environments
  • Active DoD/Intel security clearance is highly desired but not required

Qualifications:

  • Olympic level troubleshooter
  • Must have a natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn
